LHH is looking for a REMOTE Intellectual Property (IP) Paralegal for a Chicago firm. This is a Direct Hire opportunity and is accepting candidates from all states EXCEPT California, New York, and New Jersey. Salary range is $90k-113,000 with benefits. Job Summary: * Assist IP attorneys in all aspects of intellectual property practice across diverse industries. * Responsibilities include portfolio management, searches, responses to Office Actions, and client correspondence. Responsibilities: * Independently manage trademark and design patent portfolios. * Conduct preliminary U.S. and international searches. * Coordinate full search projects and prepare responses to Office Actions. * Draft client correspondence and record assignments. * Assist with oppositions and cancellations. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * 6-8 years IP paralegal experience preferred. * Proactive with strong research and analytical skills. * Highly organized with superior attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills. * Experience in trademark and design patent prosecution and maintenance. * Proficiency in IP websites and databases. * Familiarity with TTAB rules and procedures a plus. * Ability to work collaboratively and manage workload efficiently.
